Post and Packing

Post and Packing charges are based on the weight of the items in your order. Post and packing is automatically added to your order at checkout and the following information is intended to be a guide to the amount you will be charged but this is only intended as a guide and there may be occassions when a particularly heavy or bulky item costs more to ship than the guide price.
If the shipping cost is significantly higher than the price shown at checkout or we need to add insurance to the price we will contact you to make sure you are happy to proceed before shipping your order. 

If the actual shipping cost is significantly less than the price shown at checkout we will ship the order and refund the overpayment to your credit card.

If you want a confirmed shipping price before confirming the order and making payment please email through the "contact us" link and we will weigh the items and let you have a firm shipping cost.

Diecast Models.
A typical 1/43 scale model when packed weighs around 250 grams (0.25kgs).
A typical 1/24 motorcycle when packed weighs around 200 grams (0.20 kgs).

Postcards and Stickers / Badges.
Up to 4 stickers, badges or postcards (or any combination of the 3) weigh approx 50 grams (0.05 kgs).
For larger amounts add 50grams (0.05kgs) for every group of 1 to 4 items. 

Posters.
One poster with a shipping tube weighs about 170 grams (0.17 kgs).
Each extra poster weighs approx 40 grams (0.04kgs).

UNITED KINGDOM. 
UP TO 0.05 kgs £0.80 - 0.051 to 0.150 kgs £1.20 - 0.151 to 0.25 kgs £2.20 - 0.251 to 0.50 kgs £2.75 - 0.51 to 0.75 kgs £3.00 - 0.751 to 1kg £3.95 - 1 to 1.25 kg £5.00 -1.25 to 1.5 kgs £5.95 - 1.51 to 1.75 kgs £6.50 - 1.751 to 2 kgs £7.20 - 2.01 to 4 kgs £9.00.

UK parcels are usually sent by Royal Mail standard service. High value items will be sent by an insured service (usually next day delivery) and we will add the extra cost for the insured service to the invoice.

UP TO 0.05 kgs £1.35 - 0.051 to 0.150 kgs £2.40 - 0.151 to 0.25 kgs £2.70 - 0.251 to 0.50 kgs £4.00 - 0.51 to 0.75 kgs £5.50 - 0.751 to 1kg £6.95 - 1 to 1.25 kg £8.50 -1.25 to 1.5 kgs £9.50 - 1.51 to 1.75 kgs £10.70 - 1.751 to 2 kgs £12.00.

REST OF THE WORLD.
UP TO 0.05 kgs £2.00 - 0.051 to 0.150 kgs £3.00 - 0.151 to 0.25 kgs £4.25 - 0.251 to 0.50 kgs £7.00 - 0.51 to 0.75 kgs £10.00 - 0.751 to 1kg  £13.00 - 1 to 1.25 kg £15.75 -1.25 to 1.5 kgs £18.50 - 1.51 to 1.75 kgs £21.50 - 1.751 to 2 kgs £24.00.

 All overseas parcels weighing up to 2kgs are usually sent by Royal Mail Small Packet Airmail service. Parcels weighing more than 2kgs will be charged individually In some cases it may be cheaper to send 2 smaller parcels by Royal Mail Small Packet service than to send one parcel by Parcelforce Airmail service. We will always work out the cheapest option for you. High value items will be sent by an insured service and the extra cost will be added to your invoice.
If we add extra to the shipping cost to cover insurance we will always contact you before shipping the item to advise you of the extra shipping cost and to make certain that you wish to proceed with the order. We may refuse to ship to countries which have a history of mail order scams.
