Having been outlawed from The World Rally Championship by the FIA the Group B rally cars soon found a new home in the European Rallycross Championship where the potential to tweak the engines to produce even more power was much greater as the races were very short. The spectacular performance of the Group B cars and the forceful driving styles of the top drivers drew huge crowds to Rallycross events to witness Ford RS200s, Metro 6R4s, Peugeot 205 T16s and Lancia Delta S4s battling it out with the purpose built Rallycross specials producing what was probably the golden age of Rallycross. This era is celebrated in this series of limited run postcards produced exclusively for Autoavia using previously unpublished photos.
