Small vans and light commercials have always been popular with small businesses and as well as the run of the mill vans and pick ups there have been many custom made vehicles built for specific jobs like ice cream vans and fast food vans. In the 50's and 60's every British car maker had a light van and pick up in their range and this trend was matched in Europe particularly in France where competition was fierce amongst the big three, Citroen, Renault and Peugeot who all offered small commercials.
The heavy lorry market in England in the 50's and 60's was dominated by the big British manufacturers like, Scammell, ERF, AEC and Foden and it wasn't until the 70's and 80's that foreign makers like MAN, Renault and Volvo became a common sight on UK Roads.
In this section we will try to bring you a range of diecast models of commercials from all over the world celebrating the diversity of vehicles which have been available for a very important and lucrative section of the vehicle market.
