Revell and Monogram

 The Revell and Monogram brands were both launched in 1945. Revell started life as a toy company, their first product being a toy washing machine and the original Monogram products were balsa wood flying aircraft kits.

The two companies both expanded into the plastic kit market and were fierce competitors in the boom years of slot car racing in the 60's and early 70's. The two brands merged in the late 1980's and offer a wide range of plastic kits as well as diecast models and have also returned to the slot car market which as enjoyed a revival in recent years.
