Sun Star Model Developments produce a wide range of diecast models in scales from 1/12 to 1/43.

They are probably best known for their range of limited edition 1/24 scale Routemaster and RT buses and for 1/12 scale models of the VW Type 1 Kombi, VW Beetle and Morris Minor.

They bought the Vitesse brand name when the original Vitesse company folded and have continued to use the brand for a range of 1/43 scale road cars as well as some highly detailed 1/43 rally cars featuring opening bonnets and engine detail.

Sun Star also produced 1/43 Land Speed Record Cars for US company Scaleworks but although several models were listed in the catalogue it appears likely that only the models of the 1963 and 1999 Sprit of America cars were ever produced.
