Luca Tameo first found became known in the model car world in the late 70's / early 80's for a small range of handbuilt models of some of the more obscure Garnd Prix cars from that era. Production numbers were very small an they have been highly prized by collectors for over 30 years now.
By 1988 Tameo had launched a range of 1/43 scale metal kits of modern Grand Prix cars. The kits were cast to a high standard and were popular among collectors covering both the main and back of the grid F1 teams and enabling collectors to build alomost full grids for some seasons except where licencing problems preventd him from making some cars. Tameo also made models of other cars including some Ferraris and the range has gone from strength to strength wiith releases of many classic Grand Prix cars.
