Large scale hand carved and hand finished mahogany desktop aircraft model of Christen Eagle II aerobatic sport biplane.

 

Designed as a competitor to the Pitts Special the Christen Eagle II was first flown in 1977 and is a popular aerobatic mount. It is sold as a kit for homebuilders. Aviat Aircraft still produce kits and to date over 600 kits have been sold and at least 250 have been completed and registered.
