Consolidated B-24J Liberator "Dragon And His Tail Large Scale Wooden Aircraft Model

Large scale hand carved and hand finished mahogany desktop model of the Consolidated B-24J Liberator "Dragon and His Tail"

 

Dragon And His Tail was one of the more colourful B-24's. Operated by the 64th Bomb Squadron, 43rd Bomb Group in the Pacific theatre the aircraft flew a total of 85 missions. Having survived the war she was the last B-24 to be scrapped in Arizona.
