Good quality diecast model by Ixo of the Ferrari BB512 LM entered for the 1982 Le Mans 24 Hour race by Ch Pozzi and Ferrari France. This was the last but one of the Le Mans Ferrari BB512s built by the factory and at 1058 kgs it was also the lightest. The BB512 had always proved fragile at Le Mans and this one was no exception as even veterans Jean-Claude Andruet and Claude Ballot-Lena were unable to get the car to last the distance retiring after just 57 laps with engine problems. This is brand new stock. The model is mint but the plastic case has a few marks from storage so I have lowered the price to reflect the fact that the box isn't quite mint. Ixo RRP is £24.99.
