Diecast model by Hobbymaster of Bell P-39 Aircobra AH601 of 601 Squadron RAF.

The RAF ordered over 600 Bell Aircobras based on the performance of a test aircraft. The first deliveries were made to 601 Squadron at RAF Duxford but the performance was way below what had been expected as the RAF aircraft were not equipped the turbo charger that had been fitted to the test machine. The RAF withdrew the Aircobra as unsuitable for service after only one operational mission and further deliveries were cancelled.

This is brand new boxed stock with interchangeable undercarriage parts and a stand is included to display the model in flying attitude.
The model is sold out at Hobbymaster so this will probably be the last stock we have available.
