Whitemetal kit with photo etched parts by Protar of the Rothmans Honda NSR500 ridden by Wayne Gardner to win the 1987 FIM World 500cc Road Race Championship. Released in 1988 this was the first in a projected series of metal kits of what were were at that time the latest GP bikes but sales were disappointing and the range was abandoned after a couple of releases.
This is a good quality highly detailed kit. All parts are whitemetal or photoetched except for the screen. The decal sheet includes all the Rothmans logos. With time and care this rare kit will build into a superb model. Some of the pictures show part of the instruction sheet to give an idea of the quality of the kit.
This is a preowned item. The box is a little dirty with age but all the parts are still sealed in the original bags. The decals are in good condition and the original instructions are included. |
